Unit Index
Unit Index guide for Be The Final Boss Update 1. Track recruited minions, Demonic mutations, and collection progress in Apparently Champions' castle TD.
What Is the Unit Index?
Update 1 added a Unit Index UI that catalogs every minion you have recruited, including base forms and variant lines such as Demonic mutation. The index helps completionists see missing entries, plan targeted Soul summoning sessions, and compare roster coverage against tier list recommendations without guessing from memory.
The Unit Index sits alongside other Update 1 systems — three new units, fusion at the cauldron, and rotating events documented on our patch notes page. Apparently Champions may tie future milestone rewards to index completion as the game matures beyond Early Access.
How to Open the Unit Index
Load into your castle on Place ID 140302982046391 and open the main UI panel for minion management. The Unit Index entry appears in the Update 1 interface — browse recruited units, mutation status, and locked entries you have not rolled yet. Exact button placement may shift with weekly patches; re-check after updates listed on the Roblox game description.
If you cannot find the index after a patch, verify you are on the live [UPD1] build and not a cached private server. Server hops after maintenance often refresh UI elements added in recent hotfixes.
What the Index Tracks
Each catalog entry typically shows unit name, rarity tier, mutation variant if applicable, and whether you currently own at least one copy. Update 1 added three named units to the summon pool — Barbarian, Mighty Orc, and Skull King per community calendars (also tracked in tier-data). Their index slots fill when you recruit them through standard Soul rolls documented in the minions guide.
Demonic mutation variants appear as separate or flagged entries depending on UI design. Cross-reference index gaps with mutation strategy before burning Souls on repeated rolls during Luck Booster windows from codes like bossman3000.
- Base minions — Starter and rolled units such as Imp Bomber, Gargoyle, Lava Imp
- Update 1 units — Barbarian, Mighty Orc, and Skull King from the [UPD1] patch
- Demonic variants — Mutation line tied to Summon Luck and roll quality
- Locked entries — Units not yet recruited; guides future Soul targets
Using the Index for Progression
Treat the Unit Index as a planning tool, not a scoreboard. Chasing locked shiny variants before Wave 25 checkpoint stability wastes Souls that should fund Bloody Gargoyle frontlines per the wave checkpoints guide. Fill index gaps only when your formation survives the next milestone without castle leaks.
Pair index reading with the in-game Upvote Rewards board and active codes. Codes inject Souls, Spin Tickets, Forge Stones, and Fusion Shards that accelerate recruitment without replacing wave-earned income. Redeem all fourteen July 2026 codes before dedicated index hunting sessions.
Index and Future Updates
Weekly updates from Apparently Champions may add index categories, collection rewards, or new unit slots. Follow @ApparentlyGames, the official Discord, and this wiki's updates hub when patch notes mention roster changes.
When new units ship, revisit minion tier lists because index completion alone does not guarantee wave clear power — role coverage toward the castle still determines run success.
