What Are Fusion Shards?

Fusion Shards are upgrade materials introduced in Update 1 for fusing and improving gear at the cauldron beside the Weapons Seller NPC — on the right of your throne next to the Upvote Rewards board. Shards come in Uncommon, Rare, and Epic rarities. Higher tiers contribute more to fusion outcomes but drop less frequently from codes and events.

Codes are a major early source: finalboss4life grants Epic Shards and Spin Tickets, bossman3000 grants Rare Shards plus a Luck Booster, and bigthroneking grants Uncommon Shards plus a Spin Ticket. Redeem all shard codes before spending hours farming Shard Storm events.

Cauldron Location and Usage

Walk from your throne toward the Weapons Seller. The Fusion Shard cauldron sits adjacent to the seller and the Upvote Rewards leaderboard. Interact with the cauldron to fuse gear using accumulated Shards. Exact recipes may change with weekly patches — verify in-game after updates listed on our patch notes page.

Fusion competes with Coin weapon upgrades and Soul minion investments. Fuse when Shards would otherwise sit idle, not when you still lack baseline minions for the next wave checkpoint.

Shard Rarities

Uncommon Shards drop from codes like bigthroneking and from general play during non-event sessions. Rare Shards appear in bossman3000 and mid-tier event rewards. Epic Shards from finalboss4life are the most valuable code payout — save them for gear that synergizes with your current build.

Earning Shards Beyond Codes

Shard Storm events (Update 1) boost Shard income while active — check the Event menu via the party icon at the top-right. The reward wheel documented on events also drops Shards alongside Coins, Souls, and units. Spin Tickets from codes and daily systems grant extra wheel rolls.

Luck Boosters from bossman3000 improve summon and possibly shard-adjacent rolls temporarily. Use Boosters during farming sessions when you can play actively, not before logging off.
