Early Access Ranking — Full Builds

Build tier lists evaluate complete loadouts: skill tree branch, minion roster, weapon choice, and playstyle assumptions. A minion that is A-tier alone may sit in an S-tier build because skills and weapons multiply its output. This page ranks archetypes Early Access players use to push higher waves.

All builds assume wave defense competency and periodic investment between waves. None require exploits or unavailable content. Rankings update when patches reshape core systems.

S Tier Builds

Minion Fortress: Heavy Souls into main-path minions, defensive castle skills, moderate area weapon for leaks. Safest for beginners and consistent across platforms. Sacrifices personal boss damage for structure safety.

Skill-Scaled Artillery: Balanced Coins into minion damage skills and area weapons with two upgraded range minions. High skill ceiling but strong wave clear once breakpoints are met. Recommended for PC players comfortable with aim.

A Tier Builds

Boss Brawler: Prioritizes weapon upgrades and personal damage skills with thinner minion lines. Strong when you actively clean leaks but punishes passive play. See controls before adopting on mobile.

Economy Snowball: Takes early Coin economy skills, accepts weaker mid waves, spikes hard after wave ten. Risky in Early Access if economy nodes underperform expectations — verify in build planner before commit.

B and C Tier Builds

B-tier builds are playable but overlap poorly with current hero scaling or require rare positioning to work. Examples include single-lane hyper-carry without secondary coverage, or weapon-max builds that skip essential castle health skills.

C-tier builds are meme or experimental loadouts — fun for testing, not for pushing leaderboard waves. Early Access may promote a C-tier archetype to B-tier with one patch. Monitor @ApparentlyGames and revisit this list monthly.

Building Your Own Variant

Use tier builds as templates, not prisons. If you prefer mobile play, bias toward minion fortress variants. If you redeemed betheboss, you can skip economy snowball's slow start and rush minion fortress upgrades instead.

Cross-check minion and weapon choices on their respective tier lists. Mismatched components drag an S-tier archetype to B-tier performance even when execution is good.
